How Does Our Service Work?

Heres a simple quick post on how our service works and how you can simply and affordably reduce the waste from your weekly shop - no matter where you live in New Zealand. It really is a simple process and we have tried to take things back to the way things were years ago when life seemed a little simpler.

We offer two main services. One is for our local area refill customers who can take advantage of living in our 'local area' and have their own containers refilled. We also have our nationwide delivery service. We provide most of our products to customers all over New Zealand in brown paper bags which we then can reuse over and over for your orders. You can see below which service is best for you.

Our local area refill pick up and delivery service is available to all of our customers living in Wanaka, Albert Town, Luggate and Hawea. For all of our nationwide customers we package your dried goods into brown paper bags which can be reused over and over and your solid products into glass jars then these are couriered to you. We haven't yet figured a way to get liquids to our nationwide customers yet so if you have any suggestions then we would love to hear them.

Local Area Refill - How it Works

1. First step you jump onto our website and order all of your products in the quantities that you require. We have over 220+ affordable (yes we've made sure!), waste free products including all of your pantry essentials, cleaning and laundry products and ingredients to make your own plus products that help to make your journey to zero waste easier. 

2. When you are completing your order on the product pages just detail the size option that you want and the container option. You can check out this page here for all of the details on our container options we offer.

Note: If you have any issues when you are placing your order or it all just gets too hard please just check out this page here or email us at info@honestwholefoodco.co.nz. We have a range of solutions we offer for when you are having issues or online ordering just isn't quite your thing yet - including us finishing your order for you! We are happy to help you complete your order as you are trying to do a good thing and reduce your waste - from your first order it will get easier - we promise :)

3. Once your order is complete on the cart page you will detail whether you need us to pick up your containers (and where you will leave them for us) as well as select Local Delivery, Pick Up or Shipping.

4. You will get a order confirmation from us and if any issues we will be in touch

5. If we are picking up your containers you leave them where you have detailed on the cart page and we will pick them up ASAP. If you are dropping off to us just drop off as quickly as you can to the address detailed in your order confirmation. The quicker we get your containers, the quicker we can refill and get back to you.

6. We refill your containers, pack your order into brown paper bags or other containers as per your products and quantities selected.

7, We deliver back to you, you pick up (as you've detailed) or we ship products to you with no or minimal waste!

8. You feel super stoked with yourself for doing your weekly shop with zero waste. You also feel super stoked by the service we provided and the products you received and tell all of your friends its the new way to do your shopping zero waste!

9. You continue to refill your containers with us and reduce your waste moving forward.

Nationwide Delivery - How it Works

1. First step, the same as above, you jump onto our website and order all of your products in the quantities that you require. We have over 220+ affordable (yes we've made sure!), waste free products including all of your pantry essentials, cleaning and laundry products and ingredients to make your own plus products that help to make your journey to zero waste easier. 

2. When you are completing your order on the product pages just detail the size option that you want and the brown paper bag option. You can also get your solid products (like coconut oil and peanut butter) in reused or new containers which we have as options for you to select.

3. Once your order is complete on the cart page you simply just select nationwide shipping and progress as per the instructions.

4. You will get a order confirmation from us and if there are any issues we will be in touch with you.

5. We pack and ship your order, waste free to your door. You receive your products and then opt in for our 'brown paper bag return' option on your third order, so that you can further reduce your waste!
