Oregano is a popular herb which is part of the mint family. The aroma and flavour of oregano are far stronger when they are dried then when they are fresh. It is perfect to use in most dishes and adds a delicious flavour to pasta’s, vegetables, pizzas as well as just sprinkled on a salad.
Herbs and spices can be a little deceptive in their weight. Our advice is, unless you need a big bulk amount for a recipe then 30g is probably sufficient for the average household to last a few weeks at least.
