Covid-19 Updates

Through these unsettled and challenging times we want to update on some adjustments to our processes and changes to our system so that we can ensure the safety of our customers, our staff, our families and ourselves.

Please read the below changes which will apply to both our local and nationwide customers over this period of uncertainty to help to ensure that we minimise any risk for our people.

 Our Local Customers

At Level 3 from the 28th of April both of our depots will still be open again for non-contact collections only. Please read through our guidelines below and provided on order confirmations and pick-up confirmations once you order. 

At Level 3 we can accept local customers containers again for all products. Please ensure that your containers are hot washed and wiped with sanitiser on the outside before they are given to us. Sorry but if we think they haven't been washed we will not remove them from your bag. Please ensure that if you are in self-isolation or at any risk of exposure to COVID-19 ensure you do not provide your own containers. Please help us mitigate all risks.

If you are receiving a delivery parcel from us please note that research shows the virus can stay on cardboard for 24hrs so please ensure you spray your delivery with an over 70% alcohol sanitising spray before you touch or open it. Please read the research here and effective ways to eliminate the virus.


Depot Pick-up

Both of our Depots will be open again at Level 3 for collections and container drop offs for your liquids and solids only. Please ensure you follow our depot safe, contactless collection guidelines on your pick up email notification when you are collecting from our Depots and we recommend that you bring a hand sanitiser to sanitise hands after touching any surfaces - we also have sanitiser available for your use at Wanaka only.

If you are not going to be collecting your order you just need to let us know as we need to record and monitor everybody that comes into our depots over the level 3 lockdown period and keep a visitor register. We do this by the orders that are collected that day along with any deliveries or other visitors so please just let us know.

Please note we have a 1 in 1 out rule at our Wanaka Depot and please give everyone 2m if someone else is collecting at the same time as you at our Hawea Depot. Please follow our guidelines set out at our depots.

For Depot Pick Ups please follow the below rules and guidelines for safe collection of your order. These are also on your pick up confirmation and on display at our depots.

  • Use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter and as you leave (Wanaka only)
  • Do not enter our work zone or attached building
  • Give people space and follow the 2m rule and apply the 1 in 1 out rule - please don't enter the pick up area if someone is already in there
  • Collect your order as soon as you can after you have been notified it is ready to avoid cluttering our collection off area - especially if you have ordered milk
  • Please leave your empty milk bottles in the crate provided outside the depots
  • Avoid touching other people’s bags/boxes– if you can’t see your order, knock and we will help
  • If you feel unwell, please do not come to our depots, we can arrange for somebody else to collect your order or we can deliver
  • If you are in self-isolation or have travelled within the last 4 weeks please inform us and then don't visit our depots please just get someone else to collect your order for you or arrange for us to do our contactless delivery.

 

Glass Bottle Milk

If you order milk from us - like a lot of you do, we ask that you please hot wash your milk bottles and please return these directly into the milk crates provided at our Wanaka and Hawea Depots when you drop your containers or collect your orders. If you are receiving a local delivery from us with milk included, please ensure you hot wash your milk bottles and leave outside your delivery spot for us to collect without contact.

With milk collections from our Wanaka and Hawea Depots your milk will be left with your order prior collection just after your pick-up confirmation is sent. Please let us know approximate timings when you will be collecting. 

 

Nationwide Customers

Please note that due to demand there is a long delay with us being able to pack and ship orders. The delay is currently 3-5 days and our couriers are only running 3 days a week so this further adds to the delay. Please allow approx. 10 days for your order to arrive.

We don’t have many major changes affecting our nationwide customers who receive their orders via courier except please be extra vigilant when receiving your packages - please see the guide below. Please note though that you will no longer be able to reuse a jar of ours for liquids so you will need to purchase any new glass jars for your liquids and solids purchased.

Also please note that at the moment we are taking up to 3-5 days to get all of our nationwide orders shipped so please please just be patient with us. We are working as hard as we can. Also please note some couriers are also overloaded so just be patient and be kind with them at this time too.

Our Procedures and Safety during COVID-19

During this period we are continuing to be extra vigilant with cleaning and sanitising in our packing depot.

Only 3 staff members have access and permission to enter our packing depot and we have strict procedures to ensure the safety of our staff and our customers.

We also ask that customers follow our below depot guidelines:

  • Use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter and as you leave
  • Do not enter our work zone
